Blog Comment Policy
Dear reader,
- Comments are welcome, but they must be on topic; they must be related to the post on which you are commenting.
- Comments that are very long must be very interesting.
- Comments may be negative, but they should be polite and well argued.
- I may correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. I may delete irrelevant material. If more substantial revisions are needed, I will delete the comment, rather than risk altering the meaning that was intended by the author of the comment.
- Comments may be deleted at any time.
- At any time, I may choose to limit the number of comments per reader per post to an arbitrary number, such as one or two. My intent is to maximize the diversity of comments. If you wish to have a discussion without my arbitrary restrictions, you are welcome to leave a brief comment with a link to your own blog, inviting readers to continue the discussion there.
- All comments are solely the opinions of the individuals submitting them and the publication of them on this blog does not imply my endorsement or agreement.
- Spam and advertising are not allowed.
- Blog comment policy may be revised at any time.
- By posting your comments to the blog you are granting me the right to use them. I will not knowingly alter your comment in a way that changes its meaning, other than deleting material that I deem to be irrelevant.
- Your submission of a comment constitutes your acceptance of this comment policy.
- I review all comments before publishing them on the blog. There might be a substantial delay between submitting a comment and seeing it on the blog. For example, I might be away on vacation.
Best wishes,
Peter Turney.

It is great to see a blogger with some common sense about Comment Policy and I congratulate you on your conciseness.
